Breast Cancer Awareness...

Hi there well today I am posting a card I made yesterday morning in my jammies...yay I love the school holidays when you can stay in ya jammies til ya feel like it. I only have today to do that as school goes back Tuesday and we are heading out of town for the day tomorrow so no lounging in my jim jams :(

Any hows my PIC and I were talking about blog hops and Breast cancer the other day and I had seen a lovely card in the shape of a corset see here, so that provided me with some inspiration to make a punch art corset. Soooo, this is what I produced...ta dah.

Not terribly girly but cute all the same. Maybe I could do a tutorial on how I made it???Hmmm. Maybe not LOL, turorials aren't really my thing.

So anyways I am entering my card over at JAI (JUst Add Ink), it's not very pink but it has a bit of bling. Pop on over to have a look at their creations...very talented group of ladies and of course I am biased towards one extremely Kreative lady who goes by the name of Gardenia and happens to be my Krafting buddy...aren't I so lucky :) Have a squizz at some of her fanatstic work and her naughty card she made...go here.

On a serious note Breast Cancer is a very serious disease, we must be vigilant with our own boobies and get to know them to lessen our chances of succumbing to such a rampid thing. I am proud to say my Grandmother has beaten Breast Cancer not once but twice and I truly hope that I can be as strong and courageous as her if I were ever to be faced with Breast Cancer. Her Masectomy scar for me is a reminder of her strength and courage and her will to survive and most of all it has helped me realise that Beauty is definately what's within us, my Grandmothers Love and kindness radiates into her life. I will continue to try and be the best Kia I can be, face my demons with 2 horns and a touch of kindness :)

Wishing you good health and lots of love today and always my friends xxx
